It is therefore recommended to have a minimum of 4 laser hair removal treatments, which should be repeated at intervals of 4 to 12 weeks on average. Sometimes for better results one more treatment may be necessary – this is recommended especially for people with thinner and lighter hair which does not contain much melanin.

Therefore, the first laser hair removal will not yet get rid of all the unwanted hair in the area. Only after 4-5 treatments it will be possible to obtain the effect of silky smooth skin permanently. It happens, however, that individual hairs may grow back because the hair follicles have not been completely destroyed. In this case it is recommended to perform a reminder treatment once a year or every 2 years.

Usually the treatment lasts from 5 to 30 minutes depending on the part of the body treated. The cosmetologist applies the device to the skin and emits the laser light point by point, so the epilation is performed very precisely. The treatment should be repeated every 4 to 10 weeks. It is best to perform a series of four (maximum six) treatments. For most people, laser hair removal is not very painful. People with a low pain threshold may feel slight discomfort caused by the heat emitted by the laser head or burning of the skin.
